Arun Kumar, MD (Sr. Chief) – PGY5 (R4)

Medical school: American University of Antigua, Antigua.

Non-academic interests/hobbies: Photography, traveling, and reading science fiction books.

Future plans: Nuclear medicine residency. Interested in cultivating my skills in all modalities, particularly those that will serve me well as a general radiologist.

Latif Bashirov, MD (Sr. Chief) – PGY5 (R4)

Medical school: Istanbul University, Turkey.

Non-academic interests/hobbies: Travel and camping.

Future plans: Neuroradiology. 3-year radiology residency prior to my residency in St. Vincent's.

Ravindra Shah, MBBS – PGY5 (R4)

Medical school: Mymensingh Medical College, Bangladesh.

Non-academic interests/hobbies: Travelling, listening to music, and playing cricket.

Future plans: Fellowship.

Maria Elena Molina, MD (Jr. Chief) – PGY4 (R3)

Medical school: Universidad de El Salvador, El Salvador.

Non-academic interests/hobbies: Camping and hikes, mindfulness and meditation, reading (self-growth, fiction, philosophy, and history), ar,t and foreign films. I love to travel, learn about other cultures and gastronomies.

Future plans: ESIR.

Amer Alassi, MD – PGY4 (R3)

Medical school: University of Aleppo, Syria.

Non-academic interests/hobbies: Travelling, watching sports (soccer, basketball, and tennis), cooking, and exploring different cuisines.

Future plans: Breast imaging.

Anton Gryaznov, MD (Jr. Chief) – PGY4 (R3)

Medical school: Kazan State Medical University, Russia. Nuclear Medicine Residency at the University of Maryland, YOG 2022.

Non-academic interests/hobbies: Basketball, skiing, and reading.

Future plans: Body/Nuclear Medicine.

Saeed Ghandili, MD – PGY3 (R2)

Medical school country: Iran. 

Non-academic interests/hobbies: Photography, tennis, performing arts, video games, and skydiving. 

Future plans: Theranostics, Breast imaging.

Ghazaleh Mehdipour, MD – PGY3 (R2)

Medical school country: Two years of NM residency at Montefiore; two years of research at a Clinical Trial Center at Columbia University; MPH candidate at Johns Hopkins.

Future plans: Cancer, Cardiac, Body Imaging.

Ceren Dincer, MD – PGY2 (R1)

Medical school country: Radiology Resident (2.5 years, Hacettepe University Hospital, Turkey). Neuroradiology Observership (2 months, University of Minnesota).

Future plans: MSK/Breast Radiology

Brianna Losty, MD – PGY2 (R1)

Medical school country: Completed Internal Medicine Residency. 

Future plans: Unsure at this time, keeping an open mind, but think I might be interested in body.

Abhiraj Patel, MBBS – PGY2 (R1)

Medical school country: One year of Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Health - Bridgeport Hospital.

Future plans: MSK & IR (keeping options open).

Sanika Patil, MBBS – PGY2 (R1)

Medical school country: Prior radiology training from India.

Future plans: Women's imaging and maybe body imaging.
