Celebrate Life: Honoring Cancer Survivors and Caregivers Across Connecticut

August 19, 2025

Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute is hosting a statewide Celebrate Life event to celebrate the strength, resilience and hope of cancer survivors and their caregivers.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at various locations.

This special occasion will feature a variety of engaging activities, refreshments and informative presentations. Attendees will also have the opportunity find out more about the Survive and Thrive program and hear inspiring testimonials.

“Celebrate Life is a powerful reminder of the strength and courage shown by cancer survivors and their caregivers,” said Andrew Salner, MD, medical director of the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital. “It’s a time to come together, share stories, and recognize the support systems that help make healing possible.”
